The Wedding Photojournalist Association (WPJA) just announced the contest winner for their 2008 4th quarter contest winners. I was honored to place 3rd in the Creative Portait category with a photo from David and Emma’s wedding in November

I also placed 18th in the Toasting category from Zon and Mellisa’s wedding.

After Christmas, I had the pleasure of documenting Mellisa and Zon‘s wedding. From the moment I met them, only a couple hours before the their wedding, I felt like I’d know them for quite sometime. They had only decided to get married 2 weeks before and didn’t want to wait. For such a short time to plan a wedding, they put together a very beautiful and intimate affair.

Jim and Danielle were married this past Sunday at Gold Canyon Golf Resort in Gold Canyon, AZ. I had the pleasure of documenting their wedding. Here are a couple of my favorite photos from their day.
