Before Michael and Jill left for the reception I was able to fire off a roll on my Holga. The light was amazing so it worked out better than I had planned.

Arielle and I met Michael and Jill last fall. They were a referral couple. A mutual friend, Jenna, hooked us all up for a couples blind date. Michael and Jill had recently moved to Phoenix and didn’t know many people. Both are photographers and came to the Valley for Michael’s job. We could relate since we went through a similar situation when we first moved here. Over margaritas and yummy mexican food, Arielle and I realized they are both very cool people. Since then we’ve become very good friends and I was honored when Jill asked me to help shoot their wedding.

I had the pleasure of tag teaming the wedding with Jill Richards, fashion photographer extraordinaire. I also met Ramin Rahimian. I’ve followed his work for a while on A Photo a Day but I’ve never had the opportunity to meet him and chat.
