98.7 The Peak just added Chris & Amy to their morning show lineup. Austin, the Marketing Coordinator for the Peak, gave me a call to come out and shoot some promo photos. He was also kind enough to stand in while I got my lights setup.
December 5th was the Electric Light Parade in Phoenix. Usually I’m not big on parades, but I always go. I think Arielle secretly likes going. There’s always fun photos to be made. We went and had a great time.
On this rare cloudy day, I think what I usually see out my window. My office window is on the 2nd floor and faces west. I’ve been taking photos out the window all year long. Most of them are sunset. Occationally I’ll see something a little different, like a rainbow.

Arielle and I finially got to Maizies Cafe in Central Phoenix. We were accompanied by our friends Michael and Jill. You might remember them from their wedding post from April.
A couple weeks ago, Arielle and I had a free Friday night and decided to take a walk in the neighborhood.
While I was at the newspaper, I covered a ton of high school and college sports. Now that’s it’s been a couple years, I find myself looking forward to the few times I get the chance to shoot sports again. Over the past year and a half, I’ve covered Arizona State Championship tournaments for the Gallup Independent. These photos are my favorite from the various sports I’ve covered.
Over the summer, my good friend Megan gave birth to her first child, Finn. Another photographer friend Jill, went to document the home birth. I got the chance to hang out with Megan and Bryan right before and the whole family shortly after. I hoping all this exposure to Finn will help me get over my fear of babies.
