I’ve had a roll of film in my camera for about 6 months. It took a while to finish it and get it developed, but here are a couple of my favorites.

On this rare cloudy day, I think what I usually see out my window. My office window is on the 2nd floor and faces west. I’ve been taking photos out the window all year long. Most of them are sunset. Occationally I’ll see something a little different, like a rainbow.

Saturday night Arielle and I had an unexpected delay on the way to the Green Day Concert. We were walking to the light rail when this cute little kitty approaches us. Her tail is up and is very friendly, which is odd given there are a lot of feral cats in that area. As we  loved on the kitten, it wandered into the street. It only left when I came out after it then walked back to the curb. It followed me back. We continued on our way and noticed it was following us. Arielle and I looked at each other and both knew we had to do something. I picked up the little kitten, who is around 4-5 months old, and we proceeded to walk home. We setup a bed, a litter box, food and water in our spare bathroom then left once again for the concert.
Sunday we took her to the vet to get her checked for anything that might be transmitted to our cats. She checked out fine and appeared to be in good health. Arielle made a bunch of fliers and put them up around the area we found her. She also posted a found notice on Pets 911 and Craigslist. We’re waiting to see if we hear anything, but aren’t holding out much hope. We have a feeling she was abandoned in the area and decided that if no one comes looking for her, we’re going to add her to our family. We’re waiting a week to 10 days before we officially give her a name and make her a permanent member of the family. Right now we just call her little kitty.
