I would expect any given Saturday in Phoenix during June to be 100+ degrees. Not last Saturday. That’s also when our good friend Liz had her family reunion. Somehow the temperature barely reached 90. They invited us out to take some family photos and enjoy the wonderful food.

Last week Arielle and I headed up to New York City. Arielle was going for an audiobook conference and she wanted a new headshot. I was going to show my editorial portfolio to magazines and art buyers. Check out my photos from the trip.

I’m now offering social media photo sessions. Contact me for pricing and group discounts.

Shortly after I got back in town from Vancouver, our good friends Laura and Vinny came for a long weekend. The last time we saw them was back in October. It was a very fun weekend and a nice break before wedding season kicked in full steam.

Alyssa is a great kid. It was a very enjoyable day hanging out with the family at Tempe Town Lake. Arielle took this one since my hands were full giving a piggyback ride.

Michael and Lucy were married at San Marcos in Chandler. Here’s a preview. I hope to have the final edit by the time they return from their honeymoon, at Disneyland.

I jumped right back into things when I returned form Vancouver. I’m glad I had most of Monday to relax and wind down from my trip to Vancouver. This also allowed me to prepare for a busy schedule in Phoenix.

I met with Ryan and Niki at the Scottsdale Civic Center Library for their engagement photos. Ryan and Niki are planning a beach wedding this summer in Lake Tahoe. They were a blast to work with and a fun way to get back to real life if Phoenix.

Today I set out to do something a little different. After talking with Tim from Luceo Images, I decided to do a fan portrait series. I started out by hanging out outside Canada Hockey Place before the Czech Republic Latvia game. I found a lot of fans leaving the Belarus Sweden game. There was a great diversity of fans to shoot, so my timing was great. I started talking to people and started taking photos then I found the blue wall. Once I found this, I started shooting all my portraits in front of the wall. Here’s a preview of a few portraits. I have several more but will dedicate a post to this sometime later, when I have more photos.

After the game started, the fan traffic died down so I started wandering again. On my way back to the bus, I passed the Russian House where a strange mascot from the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics was getting it’s photo taken.

I drove up to Sedona (again) for Amy and Joe’s engagement session. This was actually scheduled for the previous week but had to be rescheduled at the last minute. It worked out for the best, since the weather wasn’t as nice as it was when I met up with Amy and Joe for take two of their session.

Amy and Joe are a very fun couple and I can’t wait until October for their wedding.

I’ve posted photos from out my office window before and I’m going to keep doing it. I can’t say enough how much I love the view during sunset.
